Topic: Describe a difficult task that you completed at work/study that you felt proud of

Public speaking has never been my forte. I've always been more comfortable expressing myself in writing rather than speaking in front of a live audience. So, when the professor announced that we all had to give a presentation as part of our coursework, my heart sank.

The topic I had to present on was complex, and I had to delve deep into research to understand it thoroughly. I spent weeks gathering information, creating slides, and rehearsing my speech. But no matter how much I practiced, I couldn't shake the anxiety that came with the thought of standing in front of my peers. The day of the presentation finally arrived, and my nerves were on edge. I walked into the classroom, my palms sweating and my heart racing. As I started speaking, I could feel my voice quiver at times, and my hands shake.

However, I persevered, relying on my carefully prepared notes and slides to guide me through. When I finished, there was a moment of silence followed by a round of applause. That was when I knew I had not only survived the presentation but also delivered it successfully. Walking back to my seat, I felt a sense of accomplishment that I had never experienced before. That presentation pushed me out of my comfort zone and ultimately helped me grow as a student and as an individual.
